Lucille Hibicki

Lucille Christine Hibicki of Berlin peacefully entered eternal life surrounded by her family and loved ones on July 25th, 2018. She was born on December 11th, 1923 in Berlin, Wisconsin to Max and Mary (Makurat) Piotrowski, graduated from Berlin High School and lived here her entire life. She married Hubert Hibicki on March 2nd, 1946. Lucille stayed home and raised their six children. She was a devoted Catholic and longtime member of All Saints Parish. Her interests included sewing, crossword puzzles, word searches, Scrabble, and spending time with her family. Throughout her life she spent several days on her riverbank enjoying cookouts and watching her family fish. Christmas was her favorite holiday and the greatest gift to Lucille was seeing her family celebrate the season together. Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Hibicki; siblings, Paul Piotrowski, Florence Bushweiler, Grace Hoinacki, Francis Bednarek and Rosalie Beulen; son, Robert Hibicki; grandchildren, Robby Goodnature and Jennifer Hibicki; extended family Norval Keller, David Greer and Wayne Brock. Lucille's spirit lives on in her family, including her siblings Norbert Piotrowski and Alice (Ervin) Fay; children, Judy Keller, Gail (Frank) Groskreutz, Don (Carol Ross) Hibicki, Sue Olson and Maria (Steve) Zagorski; grandchildren, Kim (Clare Perr) Brock, Randy (Stephanie) Groskreutz, Greg (Jill) Groskreutz, Eric Groskreutz, Dawn Chaplin, Jessica (Roger) Modrow, Amy (Art) Estrada, Lashell (Jesse) Schmude, Kodi Olson, Ben Olson, Tyler Hibicki, Troy Hibicki, Matt (Rebecca) Hibicki, Emily Zagorski, Madeline Zagorski and Andrew Zagorski; 34 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Glen Beulen; and numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may visit with Lucille's family on Friday, August 3rd from 9:00-10:30 a.m. at Wiecki-Skipchak Funeral Home. A funeral mass officiated by Father David Greenfield will take place at All Saints Parish at 11:00 a.m. with procession to St. Michael's cemetery to follow. A luncheon will then be held at All Saints Parish. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to All Saints Parish in Lucille's name.
