Jeremy Michael Trampf

Jeremy Michael Trampf was born on a hot sunny day, August 31, 1988 to Michael and Christine (Sonnentag) Trampf at Berlin Memorial Hospital. He was always a thoughtful considerate child and young man. As the song says you find out who your friends are definitely pertained to Jeremy. He would drop everything to help everyone first. Jeremy went to Clay Lamberton, Berlin Middle School and graduated from Berlin High school in May of 2007. One of his proudest accomplishments was never missing a day of school in 4 years of his high school career. He then went on to Fox Valley Technical College and received a Technical Degree in Residential Construction in August of 2008. Construction was his passion from the first hammer, which was carved out of wood, placed in his hand by Grampa Tom. Jeremy married the love of his life, MaKayla Milner on September 27, 2014. They had three beautiful boys together, Liam (6), Logan (3) and Landon (5 months). Jeremy’s construction degree earned him a position installing Fire and Security systems, of which he was truly proud of. He always said “It feels good working on the security systems of schools because I know I am helping keep the kids safe.” Jeremy had many hobbies. He loved being in the woods with MaKayla especially bow hunting. Jeremy and MaKayla enjoyed turning their outdoor sports in to competitions into who was making dinner and doing dishes. He was so proud of the first and only deer he shot with a rifle even though it was a young buck. He loved to fish and enjoyed going ice fishing with his Dad and Liam. He loved camping with the family and met many lifelong friends at his parents’ permanent campsite. He continued to enjoy taking his family out if only for a weekend to enjoy the experience. At a young age he picked up bowling and he continued to enjoy the sport right up to the end. He had recently been instrumental in the restart of the Youth bowling league at Berlin Lanes where he coached and supported youth to learn this lifelong sport. Jeremy was a very active member of the Fox River Wheelers ATV UTV Club and helped MaKayla organize events for the club. One of Jeremy’s favorite weekend traditions was getting donuts with the boys and having family dance parties in the living room. Jeremy is survived by his wife, MaKayla; sons, Liam, Logan and Landon; parents, Michael and Christine Trampf; sister, Jessica (Zak) Beier; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Douglas and Jo Rae Milner; brothers-in law, Christian Milner, Dillon Milner; sister-in-law, LilliAnne Milner; and Gramma, Marion Sonnentag. He is further survived by many relatives and special friends too numerous to mention. In lieu of flowers a memorial is in place for the Berlin Youth Bowling league. “What we once enjoyed and deeply loved we can never lose, for all that we love deeply becomes part of us.”
