Janice Richmond

Janice Ann Richmond age 86, went with the angels from this earth on Tuesday, June 7, 2022. Janice was born January 1, 1936, in Stratford, WI. She graduated from Rudolph High School in 1954. She was united in marriage to David Arthur Richmond on August 11, 1956 and they enjoyed 65 wonderful years together before his death in August 2021. Growing up in Rudolph, WI, all her life Janice took every chance she could get to snack on the local creamery cheese. She loved to “bake up a storm” and slap the hands of anyone who dared to sneak a taste of her fabulous creations ahead of time. Janice was a ferocious bridge player and especially enjoyed playing board games with family and friends. She was an avid knitter which led to teaching knitting at Moraine Park Technical Institute. Janice enjoyed watching the Packers, Brewers, Badgers, and within the last year the Bucks (for obvious reasons). When not cheering for the home team Janice was “hooked” on fishing up north with family. In her younger years Janice played violin and then French horn in the Rudolph High School concert band. Her love for music (especially classical) continued throughout her life. She regularly attended concerts at Ripon College and Lawrence University. Those left behind to cherish her memory include her children and grandchildren, Robin (Dennis Page) of Montello, WI, Ryan (Supaporn), Erin (Luke), Eric (Melissa), Megan (Greg), Jacob (Amanda); Crystal (Steve) Lien of Atlanta, GA, Duncan (Ozge) and Fiona (Matt); Kevin (Sandra Ramawy) of Memphis, TN, Sari and Kirana; and Kelly (Philip) Latreille of St. Louis, MO, JP and Mark. She is also survived by brothers, Charles (Sally), Roy (Mary Margret), Jim (Judy), Patrick (LaVonne) and sisters Mary Jean and Nancy. Janice is further survived by many nieces and nephews, 13 great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Janice was preceded in death by her husband, David; son, Mark Allen; her infant sister, Agnes; parents, Clyde and Genevieve Fuller; sister-in-law, Kathleen Fuller; brothers-in-law, Tony Flatoff, Pete Bishop and Jim Gianoli. Family and friends may visit with the family on Friday, June 17th, 2022, from 9:00 - 10:45 a.m. at the Wiecki-Skipchak Funeral Home in Berlin. A funeral mass will be held following visitation at 11:00 a.m. at All Saints Catholic Parish in Berlin. After a luncheon and time for sharing in the Parish Hall burial will take place at All Souls Catholic Cemetery in Rudolph, WI. In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established
