David Alan Marcin

David Alan Marcin, age 68, of Town of Richford, Coloma WI, passed away Feb 26th, 2025 at his home. Born September 4 th , 1956, son of John Marcin and Leah Duex. David graduated from Fond du Lac High School where he then moved to Berlin and met his future wife, Laurie A Kapp. They were married on September 26 th , 1986 and shared 38 years together. Their first 3 years of marriage they lived on Big Island, Disterhaft Farm, and it was just like heaven. They then moved to his wife’s 5 th generation family farm. David worked at a few factories until he found the job of his dreams, cross-country truck driving that allowed him to see the sunrises and sunsets. When he was not driving cross-country you could find him at home with his wife and fur babies. He enjoyed the outdoors fishing or hunting, Gun or bow, deer, bear, pheasants, or turkeys. David also enjoyed cooking and was a great cook, his extended family enjoyed many thanksgiving gatherings. He spent many years with his father-in-law, cutting trees and splitting wood, he cherished all those times. He also vacationed a lot with his wife and in laws, many exciting casino trips. He is survived by his wife Laurie Marcin; fur babies Ike and Charlie. Sister Rebecca Krebsbach, sister-in-law, Candy Marcin, stepmother Rita Marcin, two stepbrothers and step sister. Mother- in-law Mary Jane Kapp, brother in law Jeff (Joni) Kapp. Also, nieces, nephews, and special friends. Preceded in death by his parents John and Leah Marcin, brother Thomas Marcin, brother-in-law Daniel Krebsbach and father-in-law Vilas Kapp. Special thanks to our neighbor Ken, brother Jeff, niece Stephanie, my mother, Waushara county Sheriff Department and EMS. Life is but a stopping place, A pause in what's to be, A resting place along the road, to sweet eternity. We all have different journeys, Different paths along the way, We all were meant to learn some things, but never meant to stay... Our destination is a place, Far greater than we know. For some the journey's quicker, For some the journey's slow. And when the journey finally ends, We'll claim a great reward, And find an everlasting peace, Together with the lord.
