Mr. James Chip Jaroch
August 24, 1946 - July 13, 2016
James Chipp Jaroch, age 69, of Berlin, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday July 13, 2016 surrounded by his loving family and under the care of the Agnesian Hospice Hope. Chipp was born on August 24, 1946 in Chicago, Ill., the son of Stanley J. and Jayne G. (Wakely) Jaroch. He was the fourth oldest of nine boys and four girls, he graduated from Santa Maria Del Popolo Parochial Grammar School in 1960 and from the Mundelein High School in 1964 and was schooled in Data processing in the Air Force and he also earned an Associate Degree in Business Administration while in the Air Force. He married the love of his life Beverly J. Briski on June 28, 1986 in Berlin and they enjoyed 30 wonderful years together. Chipp was employed most of his lifetime as a Senior Mainframe Analyst / Programmer for the Wisconsin Department of Revenue and retired on May 1, 2005 from the DOR. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1965 to 1969 and his tour was served at Strategic Air Command HQ in Omaha, Nebraska. He is a faithful member of the All Saints Catholic Parish of Berlin, the Holy Name Society of the Parish and a third degree member of the Father Fiss Council 1547 Knights of Columbus of Berlin. He is survived by his beloved wife and best friend Beverly, two daughters, Elisabeth M. (Jim) Showalter, and Katherine A. Jaroch, one son, Gregory D. Jaroch, brothers, Timothy(Patricia), Michael (Marsha), Randy (Susan), Joseph (Marion), and John (Diane) and a sister in law, Carol, his sisters, Julia (Raj) Venkatapathy, Bernadette (Rev. Stephen) Halerman and Madeline Jaroch. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Stanley, Rodney and Christopher and one sister, Mary Theresa Sullivan Jaroch, his in laws, Michael and Irene Briski and a brother in law, Jerry.
