Dolores Carreon Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Dolores Carreon, age 77, of Berlin, passed away and went to be with her Savior on Friday June 25, 2021 at ThedaCare Neenah. Dolores was born on August 20, 1943 in Monterrey, Mexico, the daughter to Santos and Nicasia (Garcia) Lopez. She met the love of her life Gabriel Carreon, and they were united in marriage on February 10, 1971 and enjoyed many years together until his passing on February 27, 2016. Dolores enjoyed to garden in her earlier years, and loved to cook for her family and friends and was an excellent seamstress. She had a special spot in her heart (love and compassion) for children, especially for her daughter and grandchildren. Dolores was a very loving and caring woman that would help anyone that came into her life. Dolores is survived by her daughter, Melissa Hernandez; grandchildren, Esmeralda Balderas, Adrian Balderas, Rodencia de Santos, and Lyric Martinez; great-grandchild, Zina Sandoval. She is further survived by her brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. A special thank you goes out to her two nephews, Pablo (Brenda) Melchor Jr. and Gilbert Melchor that were always there for her, especially after her husband’s death. She was so grateful for all the help they gave her until her passing. Dolores also had a great appreciation for her brother, Rene Lopez and her sister-in-law, Estella Hernandez, as they had a close bond and she enjoyed their conversations. Everyone that knew Dolores will truly miss her, she was the most kind and caring woman, if you knew her that really is a blessing in itself! Family and friends may visit with the family and pay their respects to Dolores on Thursday July 1, 2021 from 9-11:00 a.m. at the Wiecki-Skipchak Funeral Home of Berlin. A Funeral service will follow visitation at 11:00 at the funeral home officiated by Father David Greenfield. Burial will be held at Oakwood Cemetery following services.
