Becki Kwidzinski Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Becki Kwidzinski passed very peacefully at home on December 23, 2020 with her family by her bedside. She was born in Wisconsin Rapids on Oct 21, 1949. Becki moved to Berlin in 1965, attended Berlin High School and was scooped up by Harry Kwidzinski in the same year. Becki and Harry were married on December 27, 1969 and had two wonderful sons Derek and Shawn. Becki moved to El Paso, Tx. for two years following her husband’s army commitment. Upon her return to Berlin in 1972 she become very active in a large number of Community events. Her favorite community event was lighting the park which she initiated along with her husband in 2008 starting with 7 trees now being over 120. Becki was surrounded by numerous wonderful friends in her 53 years in Berlin. She loved being with family, surrounded by her wonderful friends, camping with Harry and her loyal dog Riley, boating (no fishing), triking with Joe and Ginni and Russ and Sue, smiling and laughing with others. She disliked any food that starting with the letter “V” and loved hamburgers and chocolate. She retired from the First National Bank (Fortifi Bank) after 44 years of dedicated service. Becki is survived by her loving husband, Harry Kwidzinski; their two sons, Derek and Shawn Kwidzinski, brother, Richard Arnoldy; sister, Reata Kersten; brother by marriage, Ken Kwidzinski; and daughter by marriage, Abby Kwidzinski. She has three beautiful grandchildren, Tyler, Marissa and Addalyn Kwidzinski. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard August Arnoldy and Orvilla Marcella Arnoldy; sister, Renae; and brother, Roger. Family and friends may visit with the family and pay their respects to Becki on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and also on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 from 10-10:45 a.m. at the Wiecki-Skipchak Funeral Home of Berlin. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at All Saints Catholic Parish of Berlin with Father David Greenfield officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date at St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery of Berlin. Family and friends are reminded of the CDC’s Covid-19 guidelines for funerals. Masks are required for both the church and funeral home, please respect social distancing, and please sit with family members only. Also in following the guidelines, there will be no luncheon following the service. She was a brilliant shining star in so many of our lives. Becki will truly be missed.
