Vincent "Vinnie" Geraldi Jr.

Vincent “Vinnie” Geraldi (“Junior”), 75, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at his home in Princeton, WI in the loving arms of his wife, Sue. Vince was born in Chicago, IL to Mary and Vincent Geraldi. He began working at Sears Roebuck & Co. as a teenager. Vince was a Veteran, serving in the Army in Viet Nam from 1966 -1968. When his service in Viet Nam ended he returned home and resumed working at Sears, where he spent 48 years as a Service Technician, working in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Repair until his retirement. Vince met the love of his life, Sue, in Roselle, IL in 1987. They were married in Las Vegas and moved to Elk Grove Village, IL, where they lived until relocating to Princeton, WI in 2014. Vince was a kind and loving person. Easy to talk to, friendly and charismatic, Vince was loved by many. He enjoyed a good laugh and always had a smile on his face, especially when surrounded by those he loved. Family was most important to him and he always put them first. He loved 50s music and always sang along with the radio. He was a huge Frank Sinatra fan. Despite moving from IL to WI, his diehard love for the Chicago White Sox never faded. He could be seen proudly wearing his Sox tee shirts all over WI. Vince was a Green Bay Packers fan even before the move to WI. His love for the Packers grew where he became immersed in Packers football. Living on the Fox River, he enjoyed many hours of fishing from his favorite bench on the pier. Vince is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sue (“Susie” to him; née Cybul), son Christopher (Crystal) Mancini , daughter, Nicole Walters, and son, Brian Mancini. He was a loving grandfather to granddaughter Madeline Mancini, grandsons Aaron (Montana) Traxler, Miles Mancini, and Preston Mancini . Vince recently became a great-grandfather to Grayson Michael Traxler. He is further survived by siblings Sam (Barbie) Geraldi and Matt Geraldi, many other beloved nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law, as well as many friends and extended family. Vince was preceded in death by his parents Vincent and Mary Geraldi, and sister Ann Read. A private Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at a later date. The family would like to extend a warm thank you to Vince’s Theda Care Hospice team including Angie, Brittany, Cami, Karen, Sara and Stacy. Their help during a difficult time was immeasurable and deeply appreciated.
