Phillip E. Yahr

Phillip E Yahr, age 84, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday December 13, 2021. Phillip was born on January 14, 1937, in West Bend, Wisconsin to Leroy and Mildred (Smith) Yahr. Phillip working in the printing industry for many years beginning at Serigraph Sales in West Bend. He moved his family to the Berlin area where he worked for Miracle Printing. He eventually ended his career in printing at Master Craft located in Appleton Wisconsin. Phillip enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping with family and friends. He enjoyed playing cards especially Sheepshead. He also enjoyed gambling and traveling to interesting places especially out west. He liked the open spaces and was especially fond of travelling to South Dakota. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. His whole family was important to him. Phillip is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary (Landvatter) Yahr. He is further survived by their children: Alan & Rose (Kurzack) Yahr, Christine Yahr, Andrew and Evelyn(Schwark-Berrndt) Yahr, Phillip Jay Yahr. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Mandy & (Brian Schultz), Mitch & (Caitlin) Yahr, Allison Yahr; Eric & (Ronna) Berndt, Amanda & (Nick) Lemke, Daniel & (Amanda) Yahr, David &(Jamie) Yahr. He further survived by his brothers Richard Yahr and Clifford Yahr and his 4 sister in laws: Dolly Yahr, Janice Yahr, Sally Zell and Annette Landvatter. Phillip is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces & nephews. He was proceeded in death by his parents LeRoy & Mildred Yahr, brothers, LeRoy and Gary Yahr, his sister and brother in law Marilyn (Yahr) & Gerald Blanchette, two sister in laws Eileen and Betty Yahr, brother in law Stanley Zell, brother in law and sister in law Richard and Betty Landvatter, , brother in law and sister in law Thomas & Betty Landvatter, sister in law and brother in law Charlotte (Landvatter) and Dennis Rosenberger. He was also proceeded in death by his nephews Terry Rosenberger, Marty Rosenberger, Tim Yahr and his niece Michelle Rosenberger. Phillip will be missed very much by his family and friends and also by his beloved furry friends, Sitka and Trip. A private, family memorial service will be held on Friday, January 14,2022 at Wiecki-Skipchak Funeral home in Berlin, Wisconsin with a celebration of life to follow starting after 12:00pm at the Berlin Lanes, which will be open to the public.
