Lisa Zimmerman

Lisa Rae Zimmerman (Spritka, Schmude), age 62, of Berlin, joined the angels on February 11,2023 with her family by her side. She was born on September 22, 1960 to Louis and Virginia (Vetrone) Schmude at Berlin Memorial Hospital, on the same day as her soul mate Lindy. Lisa was a 1978 graduate of Berlin High School. Lisa married Joseph Spritka and they raised their 3 beautiful daughters, Tiffany, Crystal, and Nicole. She was well known from her years at Oshkosh Savings Bank in Berlin as well as Wal-Mart and Generac, where she retired from in March of 2022. In 2002 Lisa met up with the love of her life Lindy Zimmerman. She then gained 3 more children, Bonnie, Jason, and Heather when her and Lindy married on March 27, 2004. Lisa enjoyed spending time with family and hosting all holidays (“Food will be ready at one-ish”)as well as camping yearly with her “Lindy-Bindy” and their cherished cat, Baby Girl. She also enjoyed the occasional bonfire in her back yard. Nobody can ever forget Lisa’s warm hugs and winks! “Good-bye, I love you, see you whenever!” She is survived by her husband, Lindy Zimmerman; mother-in-law, Jeanette Bulchuck; daughters, Tiffany Spritka, Crystal Loppnow, and Nicole Spritka; step-children, Bonnie (Greg) Baranczyk, Jason Zimmerman, and Heather (Adam) Moede; brothers, Randy Schmude and Corey Schmude; sister, Michele (Rick) Blachowiak. She is further survived by brothers and sisters-in law; grandchildren, Adrian, Steaven, Ethan, Kiera, Alex, Leona, Jeremiah (Hailey), Chester, Elijah, Naomi, Aria, Chloe, and Roman; great-grandchildren, Lucian and Kenneth; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. Lisa is preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Virginia (Vetrone) Schmude; her brothers, Little Louie, and Scott Sr. Schmude; and other beloved relatives. In place of a formal services, a celebration of life will be held at Riverside Park in Berlin on June 10, 2023, all are invited to bring a dish to share. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at ThedaCare Appleton for their excellent care and compassion shown to Lisa. In place of flowers, a memorial has been established in Lisa’s name at Farmers and Merchants Bank of Berlin to help with her medical expenses.
