Mr. Kevin Lloyd Domke

Kevin Lloyd Domke, age 56, of Berlin, died peacefully at his home with family on Wednesday September 2, 2015. He was born August 1, 1959 in Oshkosh the son of the late Lloyd “Fuzz” Domke and Shirley (Johnson) Domke, surviving. He attended Berlin High School Class of 77. After high school he worked at “Old Crow” and Berlin Rendering Plant. For the last 25 years he was a hard working dedicated employee of Interstate Lumber, Neshkoro. As a child Kevin loved spending summers at his grandparents being grandpa’s right hand man. He developed a love of being outdoors, hunting, fishing and gardening. Kevin enjoyed woodworking, refurbishing old to new again, WWE wrestling, Nascar, his classic Trans Am and the Packers. Kevin also loved his old western movies and classic TV shows with The Beverly Hillbillies and Gilligan’s Island being his top choices. He was an avid horseshoe and pool player and a champion Chili maker. Kevin was a master at fixing anything with an engine, sometimes all he had to do was look at it and it would be fixed! While working on his vehicles he would indulge in another passion, music, whether it be old classic country or vintage rock Johnny, George, Hank, Willie, Merle, The Eagles, Queen, Zepplin, Foreigner or Cooper. Kevin enjoyed it loudly and sometimes his neighbors got to listen also! Kevin was a soft spoken big hearted man with a great sense of humor. Kevin fought a courageous battle with cancer and was still able to keep his fun loving, kind hearted, smart witted personality shine through. His loving team of caregivers Rachelle, Naomi, Michelle, Stacy and T.J. brought out the best in him and a special thank you to the Affinity Hospice and Nurse Ryan, for the compassion shown during this difficult time. A very special thank you to Kevin’s Angel, Karen, for all her love and devotion to Kevin in these most difficult times, Bless You Karen. Kevin is survived by his mother; Shirley Domke, Sons; Corey (Rachel), Josh, Jake and Mikey, Brother; Kelly, sister; Karen Hansen, Grandchildren, Braden, McKenzie, Dominic, Alex, Haley, Dominic, Abby; Nephews, Seth, Caleb and Niece IvyLynn. Friends may visit on Thursday September 10, 2015 from 10 am to Noon at the Wiecki-Skipchak Funeral Home of downtown Berlin. A service will follow with the Rev. Terry Reiser officiating and Kevin will be laid to rest at the Eureka Cemetery. He was taken from us too soon and will be sorely missed by all of us left behind.
