Mrs. Joyce Ann Rodensal

Joyce Ann Rodensal, age 79, of Berlin, passed away peacefully with her family near and under the care of Agnesian Hospice Hope on Saturday afternoon August 8, 2015, at the Patriot Place of Berlin, where she has resided at since April 2015. Joyce was born in Berlin on January 3, 1936 the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Kurek) Formiller. She is a graduate of the Berlin High School and on July 4, 1953 was united in marriage to Spencer Rodensal at Saint Michael’s Catholic Church of Berlin and they enjoyed 60 years together until his passing on September 18, 2013. She is a faithful member of the All Saints Catholic Parish of Berlin and the Ladies Sodality of the Parish (CCW) and enjoyed helping out at many church functions. She worked as a cook at The Whiting Hotel for over 20 years, MIdwestern Sport Togs as an inspector, and retired from Ripon Athletic after 14 years. Joyce was happiest spending time with her family and best friend Carol. She enjoyed cooking and baking, watching the Green Bay Packers, and road trips to the casino. She especially was a very loving wife, mother, and grandmother who could always put a smile on your face. Cooking and baking for others along with her generosity is one of many things she will be remembered for. Survived by: Daughter Cindy, Klassa (Muggsy) of Berlin Granddaughter, Jaime Krause of Waupun Grandson, Jason Krause of Berlin Sister, Barbara Smith (Glen) of Germania Brother in law, Norbert Walejko of Spring Lake Preceded in death by: Parents Husband, Spencer Sister, Delores Walejko Brother, Delbert Formiller A Funeral service with the Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday August 14, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at the All Saints Catholic Church of Berlin with Father David Greenfield officiating and burial will be later in the Saint Michael’s Cemetery of Berlin. Immediately following the Mass all are invited to the Parish Hall for a lunch and fellowship with the family. Relatives and friends may visit with the family and pay their respects to Joyce on Thursday August 13, 2015 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Wiecki-Skipchak Funeral Home of downtown Berlin with a Parish Rosary to be recited at 7:45p.m., and may also visit at the Funeral Home on Friday morning from 9 to 10 a.m., before we leave for the services at the church. The family would like to thank the staff at the Patriot Place and Hospice Hope for all of their kindness to Joyce.
