Jerimiah James Hamilton

Jerimiah (Jeremy) James Hamilton, age 37, of Auroraville passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday March 5, 2016. He was born on June 26, 1978 in Hartford Wisconsin. He lived in Apple Valley, California for a short time and then relocated to Oshkosh where his mother attended the University. He then moved to Poygan where he attended Poy Sippi School and then to Auroraville where he was a student at Clay Lamberton School of Berlin and later graduating from Berlin High School. He was a member of the Auroraville Razorbacks. A group of country kids that rode their hand built bikes throughout the neighborhood. Jeremy moved to Oshkosh as a young teenager and began his long career of carpentry with Pine Ridge Construction. Jeremy’s strength, agility and craftsmanship became a tremendous asset to the company. Jeremy is known for his winning smile. His personality shone through that smile. He had a way of bonding with everyone he met. He loved kids and kids loved him. He was charming and polite to everyone he met. He is loved and will be missed by many! He has touched so many lives. He had a special love for his best dog Dude. He was an animal lover and had a way with animals. Always spending his money on cat toys and dog treats. Jeremy was into Ultimate Fighting Championship. He watched the fights and studied the fighters, admiring their dedication, spirit and strength. He trained and became skilled in boxing and mixed martial arts. Jeremy loved to skateboard as a kid and as an adult loved to snowboard. He always pushed the limits and liked the extreme challenge. He was good at what he did. Strength and no fear. On June 2, 2014 he miraculously survived a near fatal car accident. He was a tribute to miracles for the 1 year and 9 months that he lived after the crash. He is survived by his mother, Rita Hermanson-Mueller; step father, Mark Mueller; and brother, Travis Hamilton. He is further survived by his niece Jade, with whom he had a special bond; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and other family and many friends. Jerimiah was proceed in death by his father James Hamilton; paternal grandparents John and Alice Hamilton; and maternal grandparents Cliff and Pearl Hermanson. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday March 12, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. at the Wiecki-Skipchak Funeral Home of Berlin with Pastor Mary Rodencal officiating. Family and friends may call on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service. A pot luck reception will follow the service at the Berlin V.F.W. Hall on Memorial Drive.
