Mrs. Elaine Rose Hebert

Elaine Rose ''Laney'' Hebert, 76 of Neshkoro, WI and Casa Grande, Arizona passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2015 at the Theda-Clark Medical Center of Neenah, WI; surrounded by her loving family. Visitation will be held on Friday July 31, 2015 at St. James Church in Neshkoro from 9-10:30 a.m. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial officiated by Father Dale Grubba will take place at 10:30 a.m. followed by the burial at the St. James Cemetery. Immediately after the burial, Elaine's family invites you to join them for a luncheon at the St. James Hall. Elaine Hebert was born on December 7, 1938 in Colby, WI to Nicholas and Laurina (Schill) Gierl. She attended St. Mary's Catholic grade school and graduated from Colby High School. On September 14, 1957 she was united in marriage to Gerald Joseph Hebert and together raised a family of five children. Elaine worked a variety of jobs including co-owning a craft store but her main occupation was in education in the Milwaukee Public School system. Elaine is survived by her husband Gerald ''Jerry'' and by four of her five children, Jerry II (Sara) Hebert of Neshkoro, Starlyn (Dave) Szyperek of Wautoma, Patricia Hebert of Brown Deer and Kelly Hebert of Neshkoro . She is also survived by nine grandchildren, Jessica (Travis) Nemecek, Erin Hebert, Jill Hebert, Sean Szyperek, Kyle Szyperek, Andrew (Cindy) Hebert, Hunter, Lindsey, and Kaycee. She also had two foster grandchildren, Fabian and Ashley along with one great grandchild Kyane Hebert. She is also survived by her brothers Robert (Arlene) Gierl and Kenneth (Judith) Gierl and in laws Joseph (Pauline) Hebert, Daniel (Nancy) Hebert, Sister Betty Hebert, Carol (Alan) Kosier and Rose (Duane) Peterson along with numerous nieces and nephews. Elaine was preceded in death by her son Vaughn (Mary Jo) Hebert, her parents Nicholas and Laurina Gierl, her stepfather Frank Seidel, her brother Wilbur Gierl and his wife Ginger and her sister Joann (Leo) Leffel. Deceased in-laws include Richard and his wife Marcella Hebert, Francis A Hebert, Alan (Carol) Kosier, and Virginia (John) Borchardt, and Antoinette (Clem) Weis. Elaine was a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandma, great grandma and friend who in her many roles touched the lives of others. She will never be forgotten especially by her grandchildren for her special grandparent day outings.
