Kenneth Carl Seaman

Kenneth C. Seaman 51, of Berlin, died on Sunday, July 7, 2019 in Berlin, after a 4- year battle with cancer. He was born on December 25, 1967, in Berlin, the son of Donald C. and Nancy L. (Pike) Seaman. He was a graduate of the Berlin High School with the class of 1986. He married Linda L. Handrich (Reetz) on July 18, 1998, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church of Berlin. Ken loved the outdoors, hunting with his dad, brother on the land. He loved fishing whether summer or winter. He hunted with a great group of friends which were named the Berlin Embassy, they hunted up by Merrill, WI. He was a member of the Berlin Conservation Club (trap league), and a member of the Bugle Mouth Bass Association, Ken worked after high school training dogs for field trials. He was employed at Badger Mining, working at the St Marie plant for some years. He worked for over 20 years at Daul Industries of Berlin, as a fabricated welder, Michel’s Pipe-Line, Brownsville for over a year. He plowed snow for some business, and homeowners in Berlin, and helped a friend with installing overhead doors and sun awnings. He was a jack of all trades when it came to fixing or welding any thing that came his way. He has left his mark on many, newly erected, or additions of buildings, such as churches, schools, fire stations, libraries, even hospitals throughout the state of Wisconsin from his job as a fabricated welder. He was very proud of his work. He was a member of the All Saints Catholic Parish of Berlin. Ken was a wonderful and loving husband, stepfather, step-grandfather, son, brother, brother-in-law and friend. He loved and cared for 3 wonderful 4-legged children, his dogs, Chance, Captain and Morgan. He will be missed by all who entered his life more than he will ever know. Survivors include: the love of his life, his wife Linda of 20 years; his step-daughters, Jennifer (Corey) Klettke of Markesan, and Stephanie Handrich of Oshkosh; his mother, Nancy Seaman (Pike) of Berlin; mother-in-law, Lucille Reetz (Chappa) of Berlin; brother, Donald, Jr. (Wendy) Seaman of Berlin; his sisters, Lori Burns and Shari (Rob) Krause both of Berlin; brother-in-law, Ronald Reetz of Berlin; sisters-in-law, Kathy (Dan) Beier of Berlin, Pam (Chris) Klettke of Pickett; step-granddaughters, Jessica and Isabella Klettke of Markesan; also many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and cousins, and his best buddy 4-legged Daisy. He is preceded in death by his father, Donald C. Seaman Sr.; father-in-law, Leonard P. Reetz; grandparents, Carl and Joan Seaman & Kenneth and Betty Pike; brother-in-law, Seth Burns; step-grandfather; Alfred Smasal; and his 4-legged boys, Chance, Captain and Morgan.
